I just uploaded three new check designs to my Society6 store. I was inspired by clothing I saw and made a traditional black white and gray design and another two which are recolors of the first.

Now this is not one of my philosophical or funny posts so if you don’t want to be in a bad mood for the day I don’t recommend reading this, however this is something on my mind a lot lately.
First, my mother told me about an uncle she had that died of prostate cancer. He didn’t know anything was wrong until he had lower back pain then it was discovered he had advanced prostate cancer and he died.
Second, I was at Rediscover and saw a paper on the wall about testicular cancer and what it said about younger men being the ones more likely to get it. One of the online sites I saw later said the average age was 33. I just turned 31 and now I’m scared out of my mind because there are several things I’ve read and YouTube videos I’ve watched that say it’s possible for men to have cancer of the prostate or testicles and not even know anything is wrong at all. Because of this I’m planning to have another checkup which I should anyway because it’s been about a year.
I appear healthy and strong and have no trouble with work or dance classes. But even if I feel healthy there could still be something wrong and so I’m gonna talk to my doctor about it when I see her.
But besides being worried, I’m also very angry that I could have cancer in body parts I do not even need. Aside from sexual matters, what use is there to having balls or a prostate? As I’ve said for years, I am asexual and I’m a 31 year old virgin who can think of at least 5 reasons why I will stay a virgin for life. However now I’m just angry at the presence of these useless body parts as I have been for years except now I’m scared too.
So anyway that’s what I’m going through write now and I thought maybe I would feel better if I got this out of my system by writing about it. This is only important for you to know if you consider me a friend and want to know my troubles or if you also are a man who doesn’t go to a doctor because you feel fine. I think regular checkups are good and I really should do it more often.
This morning I started a new thing that hopefully I can remember to do. I wet down my hair with a wet wash cloth to stop it from sticking out in every direction. I figured out that the primary reason my hair always looks so bad is because I take night showers because I can’t sleep unless I’m very clean. My hair, which is wet half the time when I go to bed gets stuck in all kinds of weird positions as I move around in my sleep. When I fix it up my hair doesn’t look too bad.

Normally I’m not a person that is that concerned with appearance. However I realize the painful truth that people do judge by appearance and I need to put more effort into looking like a human as much as I despise everything about humanity and social interaction. I spend so much time creating my art that I don’t work on fixing my appearance.
However I have been recently thinking many thoughts. I’ve been thinking about the benefits vs the risks of promoting the health aspects of veganism. This is because upon watching What the Health with my mother she decided to quit meat, dairy, and eggs because she learned how healthy they are.
First, I’m overjoyed about this because it will add years to her life and also means less money going to pay for animal suffering. She also enjoys the Tofutti products I’ve been buying her lately. She still uses honey which is a little disappointing but I’m very pleased otherwise.
But the point of mentioning this is to analyze the effectiveness of promoting veganism by reasons of health compared to ethics. In my time since going vegan and trying to educate people on my ethical reasons for not consuming animal products, I’ve had almost no success. People just don’t care. My disgust of humanity slowly has increased over the years as I hear people’s excuses.
I would very much like to focus more on the health benefits of veganism because it’s much more convincing to people since most of them don’t care that billions of animals are murdered and raped.
However, I hesitate because to promote veganism as a health philosophy comes at a great price.
First, it’s dishonest of me to give the impression that I want people to go vegan for health reasons. The only reason I promote the health side at all is because I want people going vegan to stop hurting the animals. If I didn’t care about the ethics, I never would have gone vegan and then LATER discovered that my own health improved! I lost about 50 pounds and gained a lot of muscle. In my own opinion I actually look better than I did when I was 20. I’m 30 years old now and don’t look like it to most people. I do want my appearance to serve as a good example that vegans can be healthy, but only because I want to convince them to stop paying for animal murder.
Second, people who go vegan for health reasons are still capable of killing and torturing animals for pure enjoyment. A health focused vegan would have no problem with hunting for sport, breeding animals for fur or to sell in pet shops, or paying to see animals used for entertainment in zoos or circuses.
When considering this, I still feel that ethics is the true focus and it’s one that I never plan to lose sight of because it’s the only thing that forced me to quit consuming animal products. Truth is that I just liked the taste of cheese so much that I would not have given that up specifically if I was doing it for health.
However I also have something else to say that I’ve never told anyone before. Upon leaving Christianity and slowly becoming an atheist, I started caring more about my health because I don’t have the promise of an afterlife. If this life is all I get then I better start changing my habits. One thing that I know I need to work on is sleeping more. I stay up too late playing Minecraft when I should be sleeping.
I don’t get to express these thoughts and emotions very often and I certainly don’t bring it up at work and so I need to start writing a little bit more than I have recently. I don’t know if anyone even cares but I do feel better after getting this out of my head.
I’ve published a 112 page coloring book which is available here.
It doesn’t have a really fancy cover like the other book does at least not at this point. It’s very simple which is sort of the appeal of a coloring book anyway.
Also, my previous 84 page full color art book is available here.
I’ve made the decision that now is a good time to do something with my old art blog that I created years ago but abandoned when I quit doing art years ago. Some things happened in my life and I was too distracted to do art regularly. But things are different now. I’m trying to make my art a serious career. Here are a few things I’ve done recently.
On 11-24- 2017, I Published my first art book which I called “Chandler Klebs Art Volume 1“. It’s probably not the most fancy title but that describes it well. It’s available as a paperback book for $30. I think it’s a good price considering how much is contained in it.
In fact, I’m so confident that people will buy it once they see it, that I’m going to do something unusual. I’m going to make it downloadable here so that people can see exactly all that’s in there. That way there will be no confusion about it.
The main point of the book was to allow people to see my art who are not able to use a computer themselves. However it also serves as an example of the kind of thing I can do.
Everything in there plus more is available for sale to be printed on a variety of products at this website.

My Facebook profile also has tons of stuff included the things that I experiment on but that don’t meet my own standards for publishing for sale.
My Deviant Art gallery still exists and there are many things on there that aren’t for sale on Society6 yet because I haven’t had the time to put them all there plus I’ve lost a lot of the original SVG files I made when I was using an old computer with Linux when I first began making art in Inkscape. Please look at the stuff on there and if you’re interested in buying prints of them I should be able to make it available as I find the time.
Doing my art is rather time consuming and whenever I’m not working at Hy-Vee or playing video games I experiment with polygons and the most amazing things happen. So please check out my art and let me know what interests you. I can do customized art for you if you need a logo designed or something else. If things go well then I can make some money doing what I’m good at.
This post contains some of my best pictures. These were made using only a bunch of right triangles to form a design in the shape of a regular polygon.
regular trigon(triangle)
regular tetragon(square)
regular pentagon
regular hexagon
The method for doing this is simple. Every regular polygon has a special right triangle. You can get this by using the center, any corner, and a midpoint of a side connected to the corner you used. Make a triangle using those three points. After that, it’s nothing but a bunch of coloring, duplicating, and rotating. It can all be done with inkscape as I did.
There are many types of triangles. The most common type I use is the regular triangle. It’s the first of the regular polygons. All three of it’s sides are the same length. In the images you’ll notice that I put I big gray circle behind the triangles. This is to show that a regular polygon fits perfectly inside a circle.
The next two images are a good example of how triangles can fit together to make a hexagon.
Hello, I’m Chandler Klebs, the geometric artist. This is my first post on my new blog about geometric shapes. You should see a picture above which contains 6 circles. More precisely, this type of image is often called a bullseye or a target.
I’ve decided that this type of picture is going to be the theme for this geometry blog.
Circles are probably the most common geometric shape used on earth. It’s hard to avoid seeing them. Even the eyes of most creature have circles.
This shape is not common just because it’s so round and beautiful, but also because it’s easy to make. A circle is defined by a certain center location and a radius. The radius is the distance from the center to the outside.
A circle is usually drawn using a tool called a compass. Here is a link to a youtube video which shows how it works.
The first image had black and white circles. Now I will show you the same thing recolored using my favorite rainbow colors.
And below here are some other drawings where the circles are cut into slices.
